Quick Basic has a compiler. If it's a BASIC program like BASICA, just rewrite it a bit and that's enough.

There's also one called TURBO BASIC. Like TURBO C, it can generate EXE files by itself. I've always used it. Practical and good!

I think quick basic is still better, it's very simple to use, and the language in qB is a bit more advanced than TB.

I remember when I used QB before, I got hold of two programs: BC.exe (compile) Link.exe (link)

VB1.0 can compile. The UC2X I made was compiled with VB1.0. VB1.0 is on my website.
