Hello everyone, I’ve got another DOS boot disk, and I want to install a DOS system on a 586 computer.
How do I do it? Do I boot with this boot disk first, then DM the hard disk, and after that format c: /u/s I installed it before, but I forgot. Please let me know, experts. |

Boot with the boot disk, format c: /s, and that’s ok.

Doing it that way gives you too little content. I suggest going to the DOS boot disk section and downloading “MS-DOS 7.10 full installation edition”. It only needs 1-2 floppy disks; after booting, just follow the prompts and the installation of MS-DOS 7.10 will be completed automatically.
