It was called device.exe, and it had the same function as device=... in config.sys, but it could be used after startup was complete. Has anyone heard of it?

Is there a devicehigh.exe? (It has the same function as devicehigh=... in config.sys, but can be used after startup is complete.)

QEMM comes with a whole bunch of this kind of thing buffers.com device.com fcbs.com files.com lastdriv.com (my connection is slow, I can't upload them)

Programs like lynaload.com are much more compatible than device.com, but the ifshlp.sys file can only be loaded by device.com.
