Urgent. A question:
How do I load the startup program from the WINXP CD in the floppy drive (DOS boot disk)? And after loading it, how do I boot from the WINXP CD under DOS? And how do I convert to NTFS format? The DOS boot floppy under XP is really too limited; it doesn't even support the NTFS format that it itself keeps claiming, which is simply outrageous. Sorry to trouble all you experts; I salute you here, humble as I am!

If you have a WinXP bootable CD, just set the BIOS to boot from the CD-ROM.

The following is a quote from hunome at 2003-7-30 12:52:28:
If you have a WinXP bootable CD, just set the BIOS to boot from the CD-ROM.
If the BIOS can't be set to boot from the CD-ROM, then use bcdl to boot the CD-ROM's boot sector.

dos doesn't recognize ntfs!
What do you mean by “load”?
I've heard that NT-architecture systems like 2000/xp don't use dos, and even programs that run under dos can't run on them
I read in a magazine that if you want to enter the dos of 2000/xp, you have to use a 98 boot disk (a 98 boot disk seems to be a dos system disk, because when you boot with it, you enter ms-dos)
In essence, your drive letter (winxp) is a, the CD-ROM drive, and b is the floppy drive
