I am a disabled unemployed person. I’ve made several boot disks, and now I’m uploading one of them here, sorry for the poor offering! When booting with this disk there are two options: one is for recovering mistakenly deleted files, disk defragmentation, viewing disk fragments, etc. under the Windows GUI; the other is for displaying Chinese and instant Chinese localization under DOS. To distinguish it, I’ve temporarily named it the Wei Wei Boot Disk.

This disk contains finaldata, defrag (included with Win ME), the small fragment-viewing tool in vopt, Registry Vacuum, etc.

Actually, on this boot disk you can delete the two magnifier programs zoorm and magnify in zoorm.cab, as well as the software instructions, and in finaldata.cab the related Chinese-localization instructions, usage, etc., plus win1.reg, sys.com, and so on. This would free up some space to add a few necessary small programs. Since I don’t have time to modify it, you friends can make the changes yourselves.
Also, here is how I use this disk:
1. Transfer system files: after booting with this disk, first choose the second option, then type sys c:. That’s it. (Note: at that time I was using a self-made rom-dos boot disk to repair system faults, and I couldn’t use sys to transfer MS-DOS system files, so I copied sys.com onto this disk.)
2. Defragmentation: after booting with this disk and choosing the first option, first use quiklook to see which partition has more fragments, then use defrag to select the partition and defragment it.
3. To prevent others from using finaldata to recover some deleted and privacy-related files, I copied the finaldata software onto this boot disk, so I can just use it from there when needed. For how to use finaldata, see "finaldata使用.txt" for details.
4\ When entering the GUI during startup, some English information is displayed. After booting with this disk and choosing the second option, press ctrl+~ for instant Chinese localization of the interface, then type win to translate some English information.
5. If a friend has poor eyesight, you can choose to use one of the two magnifier programs zoorm or magnify.
6. In the GUI interface, double-click to import win1.reg, and it can add a right-click menu for extracting CAB files, automatically disable the screen saver while running DEFRAG, thumbnail icons for graphic files, and so on.
7. In the GUI interface, use "Registry Vacuum" to clean some junk information from the registry.
