Everyone knows that MS-DOS 7.10 is a very powerful, practical, well-compatible, and most widely used DOS operating system. For example, it supports various FAT12, FAT16, FAT32 partitions, large hard disks, large memory, long file names, etc. And on it, you can use the WIN command to start the famous GUI programs under DOS - Windows 3.x and Windows 9x.
This is its full installation version. Its installation program is in a wizard mode. Through this installation program, everyone can easily install MS-DOS 7.10 to the system (hard disk).
Characteristics of the installation program: operates in full-graphic mode, can choose the installation path (default is C:\DOS71), installation method (full installation, install only DOS commands, minimal installation), etc., and supports coexistence with Win9x, automatically identifies existing Windows NT/2K/XP or older versions of DOS (such as MS-DOS 6.x) in the system, and allows users to choose whether to automatically make a dual boot!
Newly supports plug-in functions (there are plug-in downloads in the following posts, such as PDOS95 plug-in, CCDOS97, Windows GUI plug-in, etc., and there are also combined plug-in downloads)!
Note: When the MS-DOS 7.10 installation version finds that the hard disk is not partitioned or formatted, the installation program will automatically partition, format, and activate the partition of the hard disk. Then continue the installation of MS-DOS 7.10.
You can directly use the floppy disk installation version, that is, first make the installation floppy disk, then boot the system with installation disk 1, and then the complete installation of MS-DOS 7.10 will be automatically carried out (or run SETUP inside directly after booting from the hard disk), and follow the prompts to complete the installation:
