My Windows XP system time is not accurate, always fast by dozens of seconds. At first I thought it was the motherboard clock that was not accurate, but later I found that when I just start the computer every day, the time is accurate, but as the system runs, the time gets faster and faster, that is to say, the system only reads the CMOS time once at startup, and once it starts up, it uses its own timing mechanism. And the system's timing mechanism is out of order!!!!! The Win7 operating system on the same computer is very normal! I estimate that reinstalling the system can solve it, but I really don't want to reinstall!
What should I do? I've searched the Internet and found the same problem, but there's no solution. [ Last edited by Michael on 2016-1-15 at 13:07 ] |

Can adjusting the time synchronization interval of XP to one hour or shorter be considered a solution?

It doesn't work. After the time is calibrated, it becomes inaccurate after a few minutes, not changing uniformly faster or slower. When the error reaches tens of seconds, it no longer increases.

What objects have memory recovery and can refer to time cycles?
Computers have three types of memory: one is the motherboard memory of the electronic battery, one is the hard disk memory, and one is the temporary power memory of the memory. If there is an object that has a stable reciprocating cycle and can be realized by nanotechnology for 3D printing, as a new time reference, without a battery, such as the mode of a nanomotor. |

I haven't encountered this phenomenon.
