Good stuff deserves a bump

Everyone's PC specs are different. If you GHOST the image directly onto the active partition of the hard drive, can it be used?
Could someone who has used it and found it good introduce it a bit?
If it can't be used, or isn't practical, then it can only be just for show

Heh, the second edition I made was slimmed down to only 20M, and it has more features than this. Mine can run from a 64M RAM disk. When I have time I want to try getting it to run from a CD and see if it works.

Actually there's no need to use cloning for restoration. You can directly use GHOSTEXP to unpack the GHOST file, then extract the files to drive C:, so the original files on C: won't all be removed. I still haven't finished downloading this file, so I can't test it! Thanks in advance!

I've tried it. After integrating ie6 and dx8 it's over 170M. If your C: drive is an NTFS partition, maple, I don't think it's possible to just extract it to C: and be done with it. Resources are only 92%, not the exaggerated 98% he claimed. Since I have plenty of memory, I can't test how it behaves with little memory.

I've installed it twice. Quite a few convenient functions were removed, for example "My Documents" is gone, the Quick Launch taskbar is gone, and Send to Desktop Shortcut also stops working. After installing WINRAR and so on, they also can't be integrated into the right-click menu anymore.
