Suggest that the moderators and experts in the forum carry out secondary development of the DOS system, making it have the original flexibility and convenience, as well as the colorful features of Windows. I don't believe that foreigners can do it, while Chinese people can't.

What kind of appearance do you hope DOS to have?

The meaning of LZ is probably to make DOS have a GUI interface and be able to operate with a mouse!

Heheh, I don't have a very specific and clear concept of what DOS should become. Just as Vista2008 said, it's best to support mouse operation. But this seems to reduce the flavor of DOS. If it doesn't support the mouse, it's a fatal blow for us who do design and draw 3D graphics. I just don't want DOS to exit history.

Personally, I think it's completely unnecessary.
If you need a system with separated kernel and graphical interface, you can just use UNIX/Linux, which is much more powerful than DOS in all aspects, and also more powerful than Windows except for gaming and entertainment.
Many old DOS applications can mostly find alternatives on the Windows platform, so it's not worth spending energy on DOS.
Just for nostalgia, I think virtual machine + DOS 6.22 + Windows 3.1 is enough, original flavor.
