I installed a dual-boot system. XP is installed on drive C, and 98 is installed on drive D. But when 98 got halfway through installation and restarted, the desktop went to a black screen with nothing displayed. On boot it is just black, the hard disk only spins, and the indicator light does not come on. What is going on??
I hope all you experts can give me a solution as soon as possible. Thanks. Your little brother here will be endlessly grateful. |

Why should 98 be installed first, and then winxp?
winxp can also use fat32, so it doesn't seem to matter Some magazines also say to install winxp first, then 98 Did you remove the floppy drive? I'd also like to ask all the experts here, what consequences can a hard disk larger than 64G cause? |

If the hard disk is larger than 64GB, it's not much of a problem for higher-version DOS, but for Win98, it may not work..
