Question 1:
When the NTFS 3.5 system disk is connected as a slave disk to the XP system, it will be upgraded to NTFS 3.1, resulting in the fact that the NTFS 3.5 on this slave disk cannot be booted. Is there any way to avoid automatic upgrade, or is there any software that can无损convert it back to version 1.2 or 1.1?
(This problem occurred once before. A 3.5 - inch hard disk was connected to a standard - installed XP SP2, and then when it was removed, it could not start. Checking the NTFS version, it was found that it had become 3.1)
Please give your advice, thank you very much!

Boot the system with the installation CD of NT4.0, find the partition that was upgraded (it must be unrecognized at this time), and try to "convert it to NTFS"

Thanks to both of you!

TO xkai2010: Remember that the conversion process during installation is formatting... Then it's useless, but I'm not sure yet.
Also, actually I'm still downloading the NT system, that is the all in one version, it's too slow, it hasn't been downloaded in two days, and I don't know if it will be successfully downloaded in the end (the so-called NT systems are all the ones that were originally on the machine)

TO ROY: I downloaded winpm7 and saw the conversion version function in it, which can convert directly between 3.1 and 1.2. Wait until the system is downloaded and installed to test the effect actually. Then ask: 3.0 and 3.1 can be considered compatible, so are 1.1 and 1.2 compatible?
Also, I still want to know, can the system with a high version of NTFS avoid automatically upgrading the connected slave drive? Otherwise, it's too troublesome to convert every time

1.1 and 1.2 seem to be incompatible
