When I was using the GHOST folder on drive F to restore drive C, I accidentally selected drive E as the partition to be restored. The 17.6GB of personal documents on my E drive are all gone. How can I recover them? Can some expert give me some advice? I would definitely bow to the machine in gratitude!!!

Drive E was not only formatted once, but a large amount of data was also written to it, so the original data on drive E has basically all been overwritten, so it will be somewhat difficult to get back the original data from drive E.

It is difficult, but does that mean it absolutely can't be recovered? I think DOS has so many functions, it should be able to solve this, right? If Bill Gates says it can't be recovered, then I'll really give up. Seven Fairies, can you think of some way?

Normally this is a death sentence..... there is no way to recover it anymore.... unless you find a particularly professional recovery expert. See if part of it can be recovered..

A partition restored with GHOST cannot be recovered. Don't waste any more time. Even professional recovery experts would be of no use.
