Installation of USB Floppy Drive Application under DOS71

I first type the command "a:" to enter the floppy drive under DOS, but then when I type "setup", it shows: CDR101: NOT Ready reading drive A

I don't know how to proceed!

Your a: Obviously not a floppy drive. Please boot DOS with a USB floppy drive and try again

Thank you for your reply! But inserting the USB floppy drive into the notebook cannot boot DOS 7.1 and WINDONS systems!
I first entered the DOS 7.1 system and then inserted the USB floppy drive. I just don't know how to use this USB floppy drive

Boot with the floppy version of dos 7.1 in the usb floppy drive
