Problem with Chinese DOS boot disk. - China DOS Union Forum

My laptop (HP 4421s) has a broken hard drive. Fortunately, it's still under warranty, so I can replace the hard drive, but the hateful after-sales service doesn't guarantee data retention and asks me to copy the data myself.

Then I tried to use WinPE, but even WinPE couldn't recognize my hard drive.

Then, I planned to take out the hard drive and use a mobile hard drive enclosure to insert into another computer to copy. I didn't expect that after searching the entire appearance of the laptop, I didn't find a single screw hole. Since it's under warranty, I don't want to forcibly disassemble it.

Tragedy...

Now, I can only copy in the DOS environment using the XCOPY command. But my DOS boot disk (Ghost-integrated) can't use the XCOPY command, and can't display and input Chinese (because there are Chinese folders).

Now I want to ask all the experts, how to make a DOS boot disk with the following characteristics:
1. Boot from a USB flash drive and be able to recognize the USB flash drive;
2. Can display and input Chinese;
3. Can use the XCOPY command.

Hehe, judging from what the thread starter said, the computer seems to be recently produced (inferred to still be under warranty), so generally speaking, the computer should be able to recognize the USB flash drive under DOS without loading the USB driver, which is a lucky thing. That is to say: The thread starter can use the grub4dos method to boot the USB flash drive (make a bootable USB flash drive using fbinst or BOOTICE) to enter DOS, and then use the VC disk file management program to transfer files on the disk (unfortunately, the only few different model HP laptops I have come into contact with seem to have poor support for DOS, and there are always some inexplicable problems during the system operation). Is the statement "even the PE can't recognize the hard drive" because the PE doesn't support your hard drive and thus can't recognize it? Try changing a few recently released PEs?
