I have a Windows 98 English version. When upgrading to IE 6, I selected the Chinese display and input components. Now I can normally browse Chinese websites and also type Chinese characters on them, (right now!) But, except for IE, the desktop and other software cannot display Chinese normally. That input method (it seems to be Microsoft global IME 5.0) can only be activated in the IE window, and it is not visible in other places.
So, how can I use Chinese in the entire system? |
