When installing the system by attaching the physical disk in VMware, after installation and restart, use grub or bootthink to boot the system to enter the new system and set up ntldr or other normal startup methods. You can also manage multi-boot directly with bootthink.

The process is relatively dangerous. Prepare a bootable USB drive as a precaution.

Come on, virtual machines mounting physical disks to install systems have many long-term problems.
