Hello everyone:
I have a 3-in-1 boot/install CD containing 98, ME, and 2000. Now I need to reinstall the system on an old computer, but that old computer cannot boot from the CD-ROM. After booting from a floppy disk, I enter the CD directory. I want to find some command that I can run directly so the installation directory will appear, but I still can't find it. Also, I can enter the hidden BOOT directory by typing CD BOOT, but I can't see that directory with DIR. Likewise, under WINDOWS I also can't see the hidden directory on the CD!
My questions:
1, how do I view the hidden directory on the CD
2, under DOS how do I directly run the CD so that it shows the multi-choice installation interface
I've tried viewing all files under WINDOWS, but I still couldn't see the hidden BOOT directory. Asking for advice!

Generally the installation directory will not be hidden.
Enter the 98 installation directory and run setup to install it.
For 2000, go to the i386 directory, then run winnt to install.

叫我Jorkin或小p就行,别再叫playboy2925了,跟提犯人似的。
如果认为小弟发的logo不错的话,给朵鲜花我就知道了。:)

With IsoBuster you can view hidden CD tracks. After seeing the path, under DOS you can just use the cd command to enter it directly, and once inside you can use dir to view the file list

It’s encrypted. IsoBuster is pretty good for working with CDs. What the poster above said is right.

that old computer does not support booting from the CD-ROM.

You can try BCDL, search for some earlier posts. With this you can boot from a floppy and then switch to booting from the CD-ROM. It was made specifically to solve BIOSes that do not support BOOTCD.

Teamwork !
