Easy! I won't say too much. There are a few points to note. The hard drive is best IDE, which is the most supported. I haven't tried SATA, and I've heard it's not supported. (For those who want to install a dual system with Windows NT 5.0 or higher operating systems, I'm sorry to say: it's impossible because Windows NT 5.0 or higher operating systems don't support NT 3.51) Also, NT 3.51 only supports FAT16/NTFS/HPFS.

I divided the hard drive using WinPE like this:

/Primary partition C: 300M [FAT16]
HDD: Primary partition D: 2GB [FAT16] /Logical partition E: 20GB [NTFS 4.0]
\ Extended partition: \Logical partition F: 20GB [NTFS 4.0]

My hard drive is almost ready. The second primary partition is for the installation files of Windows NT 3.51 and the only Windows NT 4.0 that can coexist with it.

To prevent mistakes, I replaced it with a 256MB DDR memory stick.

Boot the computer with MS-DOS 6.22 boot CD, boot floppy, boot USB flash drive,

d:
cd i386
winnt.exe /b

Start the installation program. It starts in English, but anyone with a little proficiency can understand it. Buying a dictionary is also okay.
Reboot once and it will be in Chinese.

Sudden urgent matter

Detailed explanation next time
sorry

The APIs of Windows NT 3.51 are too old, and many software don't support it anymore!

200/xp/2003 can dual-boot with NT 3.51, as clearly stated in the help. The only thing is that NTFS format cannot be used. Because when installing a new system, the installation program will upgrade NTFS to the latest version 3.1, and only NT 4 SP4 or later versions can read NTFS 3.1. So, if you want to install a dual system of NT 4 and 2000/xp/2003 and only use NTFS partitions (since FAT16 wastes too much space), be sure to install SP6a for NT 4 first, otherwise, after you install the dual system, your NT 4 will never be able to boot again.

nt3.1, 3.5 need to modify setup.inf and initial.inf to support CPUs above pII... 3.51 can actually recognize win95 and can dual-boot with it

Today I found a Pentium 133MHz, 32MB EDO RAM, 1.2GB HD, S3 Trio64V+ and installed NT 3.51 (original Win95 OSR2 + DOS 6.22). Everything went smoothly except that the ISA Bus Genius LAN 2000 II se network card couldn't be made to work.

Finally replaced with a PCI RTL8139, Firefox 2.0 can run, TightVNC 1.2.9 also works, just very slow

Windows 3.2 is an advanced DOS, then you enter win to get into Windows. As for dual-booting... It doesn't seem possible. I tried. It doesn't work with 2K and XP.
