DOS doesn't recognize large hard drives. This is because DOS was developed before large hard drives became common.

Using MS-DOS 7.1 can support hard drives up to 2T. DOS 6.22 only supports up to 8.4G. If you want FDISK to support a 120G hard drive, use the FDISK of MS-DOS 8.0
