I use the Super Emergency Boot Disk CD edition. It has GDISK in it, and I’ve always used it for partitioning and formatting. It’s very handy. But I’ve never formatted the C drive, the system drive, by itself before. Does anyone know whether GDISK can format the C drive by itself? What is the exact syntax? Is it gdisk 1 / for / q :c, or gdisk 1 / format c:, or something else? Please help me out and give me one correct GDISK command for formatting the C drive by itself, or if there is some other better method. Thanks.
