In the command window of 2000/XP, as soon as I run a program (even EDIT), it switches to CHCP 437, so it can't read or write Chinese. Also, TW, UC, CX, CC, H... DOS either won't start at all, or the screen gets garbled as soon as they start. What should I do?

You can use TW!
I'm using it myself!
The method is to run the command line window on a non-NTFS partition,
then type TW to run TW and that's it!
When running this way, some programs may not run,
this is because the DOS version at that time is only 5.0
so it's best to use DOSVER to set the version number too,
then everything will be OK!

CCDOS97, UCDOS, AW97, etc. theoretically and in practice can all be used in the DOS window of Win2K/XP, but AW97 uses the least memory, and it supports the GBK large character set.
