Dear experts, I recently just installed MSDOS 7.1, using a notebook, dual-boot with XP. In pure DOS, it is easy to automatically shut down, suspecting it is a temperature issue, but there is no problem in XP. Please help solve it, thank you very much!!!

What's the configuration of your notebook? I've also encountered similar problems. Whether it's a desktop or a notebook, it seems that machines with relatively new configurations have this problem. What counts as new? I can't tell exactly. Probably, maybe it's divided by the SATA interface.

There is a desktop computer. Under the default configuration of DOS, when it's only at the command line prompt and does nothing, it will automatically shut down after a period of time. But strangely, it's okay to run Windows XP for any length of time.
