Every time I try, most of the time it's various NTDETECT FAILED, such as when using NTLDR to boot the installer, and when trying to boot the installer with GRUB4DOS 0.4.5 (in most cases, after chainloader it prompts incorrected or unsupported executeable format, sometimes chainloader bootsect.dat successfully also has ntdetect failed under the line SETUP IS INSPECTING...). I have tried changing to a FAT32 (8G) partition, a FAT16 (1.5G) partition, and even NTFS5, but none have succeeded. There are OSes on my C drive and I can't format it casually. There's 63S-GRUB installed in the MBR (details in Wuyou Boot). I don't know if anyone has actual machine installation experience, please pass it on. By the way, the UI of NT3.51 plus being able to run quite a few WIN32 programs is really quite showy. This has seriously aroused my curiosity...

Grub4dos can only chainload the ntldr of Windows 2000 and later versions directly, and cannot chainload that of NT 3.51. You need to partition a FAT16 partition smaller than 8.4G in MS-DOS 6.22 (the partition should be before cylinder 1024). Then execute winnt /b under MS-DOS 6.22 to start the installation. It is estimated that your problem is that the partition is behind cylinder 1024. [ Last edited by fujianabc on 2010-7-1 at 09:39 ]

Please install with winnt /b under DOS 6.2

It has been installed, thanks to the two in LS. But there is still a problem. Why is it that when I want to install vbemp in 351pack.v6, it always fails? I am prompted that the installation is successful and I have restarted, but I still can't change to 16 colors? Or are there any other driver programs that support 1024X768@65536 colors, and it would be better if it can open 85HZ refresh rate.
