Under my C drive, msdos.sys and io.sys are both 0KB. Is this normal?
The system is WinXP.
Today I suddenly found that these two files, msdos.sys and io.sys, are actually 0KB.
Oh my, I always thought these two files were important system files. Why can they be 0KB?
They are two empty files.
Could it really be that they are useless? Can they be deleted?

Windows XP doesn't need these two files, just delete them...
I still get these two files from time to time now, and I'm getting tired of deleting them. I don't know what program creates them...

That's not normal... These two files are for booting DOS. Maybe they work for XP.
