OP: I'm using DOS 6.22 and want to modify "Flame Dragon Knights." Could you recommend which software would be good to use?
I've already used gb4 and gk97, and when I bring up fpe2000 the screen gets garbled. |

GW won't start. As soon as I run it, the screen goes black. I have two versions and both are the same.
Also, I'm using a virtual machine. |

Then try MS-DOS 7.10 instead... DOS 6.22 doesn't have good compatibility...

Didn't the admin say in the 7.10 introduction that it can't be used on VPC?

Then it's probably a virtual machine problem. VPC in particular has lots of bugs. Better do the modification in a real environment.

You mean use a boot disk and enter pure DOS, right?
