A 320G Serial Port Mobile Hard Drive Cannot Boot DOS Image

A 320G serial port mobile hard drive. I made it into a WINPE + DOS boot. WINPE can boot normally. When using GRLDR to load the DOS.IMA image, an error occurs and cannot enter the DOS system.

The first partition is in FAT format, 250M, set as active. The contents of the disk are as shown in the picture:

Contents of the primary partition WinPE:

Contents of boot.ini

Contents of menu.lst

The same content and configuration run normally on an 80G parallel port mobile hard drive and a 40G parallel port mobile hard drive. It should be said that the DOS.IMA image is not a problem, but it doesn't work on the 320G serial port mobile hard drive. After booting, only the cursor is flashing and the mobile hard drive indicator light is flashing. The machine is not dead, just cannot enter the DOS interface. Please help the expert to see where the mistake is...

By browsing the relevant materials in this forum, I found the result in the post at http://www.cn-dos.net/forum/viewthread.php?tid=21025&fpage=1 where I asked for help regarding memdisk in grub. It turned out that the memdisk I was using was incorrect, and switching to version 0.97 worked... I learned another trick... Thanks everyone

My machine also has this problem. Running PE on the mobile hard drive is fine, but as soon as I load MaxDOS, it doesn't work. After listing c/h/s, the cursor keeps flashing and doesn't move. I don't know the reason. It's also loaded with GRLDR.

Does it have to do with the version? I also can't start it on some systems.
