【RCII-SP3S400C12 Development Board Hardware Configuration】
Designed with 4-layer board industrial standards:
1. FPGA chip: Xilinx Spartan3 series XC3S400, 40,000 LCs, equivalent to 400,000 gates.
2. Configuration chip: XCF02S.
3. 512K Byte high-speed asynchronous SRAM: one 256K×16Bit ASRAM with independent byte enable signals.
4. 8M Byte high-speed SDRAM: one 4M×16Bit SDRAM with a maximum read/write speed of 143MHz.
5. 2M Byte fast FLASH: one 2M×8Bit FLASH with a read/write speed of 90ns; flexible page mode, which can be used to store FPGA configuration files or operating system image files.
6. 9-pin RS-232 serial port: realizes data communication with the computer; auxiliary debugging and result output.
7. 512-color VGA interface: directly connects to a VGA monitor to realize 8 kinds of demonstration displays; used to verify VGA timing.
8. PS/2 mouse and keyboard interface: standard mouse and keyboard interface, supports 3.3V and 5V devices, can be used to verify PS/2 interface protocol and realize an IO device expansion.
9. USB2.0 high-speed data interface: uses the widely used and stable Cypress CY68013A chip to realize USB interface expansion, and can realize high-speed data transfer with the computer.
10. LCD interface: standard character-type liquid crystal module interface, provides control methods and driver programs for 16×2 character liquid crystal.
11. 8-bit LED display: can be used to display the levels of part of data variables during program debugging for auxiliary debugging.
12. Buzzer: uses the physical characteristic that the buzzer produces different sounds at different working frequencies, and realizes simple music by dividing the clock at different frequencies.
13. 4-digit digital tube display: used to display 4-digit numbers; for auxiliary debugging or displaying part of program results.
14. Function expansion interface: through corresponding expansion boards, applications such as Video, Audio and network can be realized. Users can also develop their own defined interface boards.
