I successfully installed the Chinese edition of Windows 3.2 under DOS 7.1. After deleting the DOS 7.1 related files and keeping only the three boot files, I installed Windows 3.2 again. It installed successfully and rebooted, but when I type win at the command prompt to start Win3.2, Win3.2 just stays at that LOGO screen and does not move. I know this is because modern high-spec computers are incompatible with this kind of old system. How can an expert solve this? (CPU Core 2 Duo, memory 3GB, hard disk SATA 20GB partition, motherboard 965 chipset)

There is too much memory. Win 3.x obviously cannot start with that much memory, and even Win9x does not support that much memory.

I suggest reducing it to below 512M.
