What I need most at present is to be able to add the "boot from hard disk" function independently with the guidance and help of netizens on the system floppy disk generated on the Win98 system. Because this is conducive to me not having the trouble of taking out the system floppy disk in a hurry when using GHOST to restore the backup.
I specially request the moderator and netizens to help. Thank you!

In fact, I have replied to this question many times. Go and check the DOS boot disks with GRUB we made before. You can easily complete this function.

"Dear webmaster of 'New DOS Era': I am a new member of this forum. Where can I easily find the DOS bootable disk with GRUB you made before!? Please point it out in detail. Thank you!! I have also downloaded your GRUB, but I don't know how to use it specifically!?

Take a look at the top sticky post in this section titled "Download: Collection of DOS Boot Disks". It has a DOS boot disk with GRUB in it.

I downloaded the "FreeDOS + GNU/Qube Graphics Boot Disk" which has the "Boot from Hard Disk" option, but due to my extremely poor level, I really don't have the ability to extract the "Boot from Hard Disk" I need currently and add it to the Win98 system floppy disk! If you are willing to clearly teach this knowledge, I will be very grateful!!

In the startup CD of Windows 98, there is a jo.sys. Note that it's not io.sys. Just put that file into a floppy disk.

The method mentioned by playboy2925 is an old approach, which has fewer functions and poor flexibility, but is relatively easier to implement. As for the GRUB method I use, please carefully study the DOS boot disk with GRUB I made and check the old posts in this section (there were related discussions before), and you will understand.

Don't say that. The DOS boot disk with GRUB has already been downloaded, right? But for general users, it's still the method that playboy2925 said about JO.SYS.
