I accidentally formatted my E: drive with the format command. There was important stuff in it. I still can't find the unformat command. I hope everyone can help me. Also, I've never used it before, so I don't know what parameters to add. Can this command completely restore it or not? If it can't fully restore it, then I'm really in trouble. I'm done for. Please be sure to help me.

UNFORMAT is available in DOS, I’ve used it a few times too, it’s fairly okay, I guess. In theory, as long as the space where those files were stored hasn’t been occupied, they can be recovered. But in practice, I can’t say how much can be recovered, just see for yourself. Remember, don’t put any more files on drive E: now, otherwise they may not be recoverable. Also, if you used the /U parameter when formatting, then there probably isn’t much hope!!!!!

Try EasyRecovery Pro6.0. It can recover data from a mistakenly formatted partition, but the prerequisite is that no data must have been written after formatting.
