Xcopy is finally fully Chinese-localized!
Moderators, please help check whether there are any errors in the translation. APACK-compressed Xcopyopen attachment |

Why not Chinese-localize the latest XCOPY version 1.1, but instead Chinese-localize the old XCOPY version 1.0?

The following is quoted from 沈洁 on 2003-7-17 23:39:37: I already gave the XCOPY 1.1 download address to lydong before, and he already put XCOPY 1.1 into his DOS boot disk. Go look for it in his boot disk. |

Brother Shen, please be sure to Chinese-localize a powerful XCOPY that isn't too large, and can directly copy hidden and read-only attributes. The XCOPY that comes with 98 isn't good.

This isn't the one from 98!
If it were the one that comes with 98, why would I need to Chinese-localize it! The built-in Chinese fonts in Tianhui can already Chinese-localize it! |

Watching closely. It absolutely has to be a Chinese-localized XCOPY that can directly copy files with hidden and read-only attributes, instead of having to change the attributes first before copying. I seem to remember there was an XCOPY file that could copy them directly,

The XCOPY in Yiyesong's boot disk comes with MS-DOS; the XCOPY in lydong's boot disk is from FreeDOS. The latter is of course more powerful than the former.

The problem is that Yiyesong also said his Xcopy is from FreeDOS,
and I also opened it and checked, and it isn't the one that comes with MS-DOS Borland C++ - Copyright 1991 Borland Intl. The best proof is that Tianhui can't Chinese-localize it. Also, when lydong's Xcopy displays help, the top part can't be seen, it scrolls past the screen! It's also a little bigger than Yiyesong's. |

The following is quoted from 沈洁 on 2003-7-18 16:53:12:Mine is a slimmed-down edition of xcopy32.mod. I think lydong's is the best |
