I'm currently using the WIN98 operating system, and I want to install WIN2000 as well to make it dual-boot. How should I do it, and how should I set up the hard disk? Thanks to all the experts for your advice

Make a partition larger than 2GB and just install it directly! A dual-boot menu will appear automatically.

One can be 98, but the other has to be 2000 or above. Otherwise you'll need software to make a dual-boot menu! That software was in the July issue of Netfan book!

Thanks very much. Then let me ask, if I boot into WIN98, can I still access the files on the partition where WIN2000 is installed?

If it's using the FAT32 partition format, then they can access each other directly.

Under 98, just run it directly from the CD-ROM drive, just like installing software, and install 2000 to drive D: When it runs, 98 and 2000 will naturally appear for you to choose from
