We have an excessive number of files on our personal computers: dozens of static websites, tens of thousands of MP3 songs, thousands of PDF and DOC files, a large amount of collected pictures... and also hundreds of TXT e-books... A large number of study notes - in TXT format, numerous program source codes, and these PDF files, e-books, notes, and codes are used for different purposes, so there are numerous layers of folders.

Now we obviously feel inconvenient when browsing, and we have to rely on searching to find files on our own computers. It's really embarrassing, and the study notes are not coherent. After a long time, we have written many repetitive notes without knowing it.

I thought of using an online BBS forum to manage these files. Writing study notes is like posting a thread, and we can embed codes, pictures, etc. We can also post good articles we find on the Internet to our own little nest.

This little nest is a dedicated forum for ourselves.

I don't know what everyone thinks. Is there anyone who has the same idea as me? Actually, I thought of this a long time ago, but I don't know much about the principles of BBS, so I can't act freely. Until now, this idea is still a pipe dream.

I specially post this thread to communicate with the friends in the union and hope that everyone can give more opinions.

It's just a type of blog that's more convenient than blog categorization and allows free file placement, which is very convenient.

Take songs as an example. Each song has an original singer. If someone is a fanatic, they must have detailed knowledge about the original singer of this song, the album it belongs to, and other information. The usual way of storing in folders can't meet the requirements. It's not pleasant to rely on Baidu search every time. Their own dedicated BBS nest meets all these needs.

It feels that... for managing files, wiki - type programs are more suitable.. The wiki program itself has that kind of automatic mutual reference function (automatic linking).. BBS is a bit lacking in this regard.

Mainly use search function application software for modification, add historical memory and hierarchical file information indexing. Grid - style operation, with one action as one square. For example, the opening square for creating a new post, the closing square for deleting a post, and the smaller square (inner square within a square) for incrementing information in the old square for modifying a post. The necessity of historical grid memory and extreme grid memory for these square information. The retrieval of historical grid memory is mostly unnecessary, but if the memory content is relatively small, it can also be considered; extreme memory only retains grid memory within a period of time that people usually easily make mistakes.
