I made a Windows XP boot disk by checking the “make boot disk” option when formatting. It can boot, but it can’t go directly into XP. I managed this under 98: after booting from a floppy disk, I could enter 98 with win.com without rebooting. So why doesn’t XP work? Please give me some advice.

Could you explain it a bit more specifically? I just started learning this stuff. Thanks.
