Want to make a bootable CD for system maintenance.
1. DOS (containing ghost.exe and so on)
2. MSDaRT 5.0 (Windows PE for Windows 2000 / XP / Server 2003)
3. MSDaRT 6.0 (Windows PE for Windows Vista / Server 2008)
4. MSDaRT 6.5 (Windows PE for Windows 7 / Server 2008 R2)

Using bcdedit.exe to edit the BCD file, the latter three systems can be successfully booted, but DOS cannot be booted.
After searching on Baidu and Google, it is found that the problem is with the extraction of the bootsect file for DOS. Online are all bootsects for hard disk installation of DOS, and there is no bootsect for CD-ROM DOS.

An indirect method is to use Boot Manager to call GRUB4DOS, and then use GRUB4DOS to call DOS. Set the waiting time to 0.

To start DOS from a CD, you need to use the floppy disk emulation method, and you can't directly use bootmgr to load DOS's bootsect.
