The following is a quote from Wengier posted on 2003-7-31 22:59:20: But isn't that only because you're using a program to make DOS support it... if you don't have that program, how would DOS support long filenames?? |

Do any of you have a way to make mimdplay.exe play this MID?
Please don't change the subject, okay! |

沈洁: it's MIDIPLAY.EXE, not MIMDPLAY.EXE! At first I thought it was just an occasional typo, but I didn't expect you to keep typing it wrong!
MIDIPLAY doesn't support long filenames, just use the short filename form of the MIDI file. |

It still won't play!
Try it yourself! I keep typing MIDIPLAY.EXE wrong because switching from the Chinese input method to English is really ◎!¥%%……×!¥%¥※ And then it's Ctrl+C! |

What are you all talking about? I can play yours with realplayer. It's not a mid file at all, it's an rmi file. So if you absolutely have to use that software of yours to play it, you'll have to use software to convert it. Then it will change, and realplayer will be able to play it.

Of course it has to be played under Windows. Under DOS you'd need rmi playback software.
