Why does my WIN2000 system always pop up a file protection dialog box, telling me that a file has been damaged and asking me to reinsert the installation CD? But after reinstalling it once, I still get this message. What should I do?

Maybe the registry was modified. Reinstalling over it is useless; you need to format first and then reinstall.
