UIDE/UIDEJR are back to using normal memory, due to MS-DOS V7.10 kernel "bugs" that cause CRASHES! /R deleted, /H now requests HMA usage "at the user's own risk"! Other drivers unchanged (re-dated only).
The new default for UIDE will use ordinary 640K conventional memory (it will no longer use HMA unless forced).
Some users reported that on certain computers, using UIDE under the MS-DOS V7.10 kernel would cause hangs. It has been determined that there is a problem with DOS HMA in MS-DOS V7.10.
The new fix removes the /R parameter and adds the /H parameter (force use of HMA).
If there are problems when using /H, "no responsibility will be taken; use it at your own risk."
