I have found the drivers in DOS in the VM, PCNTND.NIF, PCNTND.DOS, PROTOCOL.INI. Is it just enough to add DEVICE=C:\PCNTND.DOS in config.sys? My loading prompt says no permission to open protocol.ini? Please expert guide.

I have tried to install the network card driver using MSCLINET 3.0 FOR DOS, but on the network card driver list page, I selected another place and then entered the driver path, but the system just said that the corresponding driver was not found. Why is that? Is the driver PCNTND.DOS 51.8KB that I found incorrect? Or is the network card of VM6.0 not AMD PCNET? Experts, come here.
