Ask: Problem with using multiple network cards under MS Client - China DOS Union Forum

I searched the forum and someone raised this question in 2004 but didn't get an answer. Now I'm encountering the same problem.

There are 4 Intel Pro 100 network cards of the same model on my motherboard. When installing the MS client, only one network card driver is installed and 4 network cards can be recognized. But when booting with DOS, only one is loaded by default. If 4 drivers are installed in the MS client, then 4 network cards can be loaded at startup.

The problem is that only one of the 4 network cards can be used simultaneously under DOS. How can all 4 be used simultaneously?

I added the protocols NWLink IPX and NetBEUI to each network card. I originally wanted to add the TCP/IP protocol and distinguish the network cards by IP addresses, but the TCP/IP can only be added to one network card, and adding it to other network cards later will cause an error and exit.

Has anyone ever used it like this before? Or can any expert help answer it? Thanks!
