Also known as "Graphics Programming Black Book"
English original title: Michael Abrash's Graphics Programming Black Book It's a very classic foreign language book (with a grand style, oh). Everyone, if anyone has it or has clues, please let me know. Both electronic versions and printed versions are okay. Thanks. [ Last edited by enjoyer on 2009-5-29 at 11:58 ] |

"OpenGL Programming Guide, Sixth Edition" I bought one by mail.
It feels okay. I don't know if there are books specifically researching algorithms for graphics programming. |

The Current Status of OpenGL
[Section for Editing]Current Status of OpenGL OpenGL is still the only API that can replace Microsoft's complete control over 3D graphics technology. It still has a certain vitality, but Silicon Graphics no longer promotes OpenGL in any way that displeases Microsoft, so there is a relatively high risk. Game developers are a group with independent thinking, and many important developers are still using OpenGL at present. Therefore, hardware developers are trying to strengthen their support for it. Direct3D cannot currently support high-end graphics devices and professional applications; OpenGL dominates in these fields. Finally, the open-source community (especially the Mesa project) has been committed to providing OpenGL support for any type of computer, whether they use Microsoft's operating system or not. |
