Our company is using English Windows XP. Now we need to use the pinyin input method to type Chinese in the DOS of Windows XP within the DOS Visual FoxPro program. I have tried the input method that comes with Windows XP, but when running the Visual FoxPro program, it crashes. Can all the experts help me.......... Very urgent..........

I only remember that Visual Foxpro originally ran on Windows 3.x. If you were running it under DOS, I haven't tried it under the command line of Windows XP, and I don't know why it conflicts with the input method of Windows XP. If that's the case, then you might as well make a dual system of DOS and Windows.

You mean the original program was written in dBase and now runs on Visual Foxpro? I don't know how compatible Foxpro is with dBase, and I'm even more unclear whether DOS database applications can run under Windows Foxpro.
If you want to make a DOS/Windows dual boot, you can take a look at the two posts on the homepage of "Teaching Room": http://www.cn-dos.net/forum/viewthread.php?tid=10231&fpage=1 http://www.cn-dos.net/forum/viewthread.php?tid=16762&fpage=1 |

To be honest, based on your description, I haven't fully understood your problem. But anyway, it's just that the original DOS database program can't run in the Chinese environment of Windows command line. Install a dual - system, and then find a DOS Chinese platform that supports BIG5 code here and give it a try.
