Moderator:
I want to make a CD-bootable DOS boot disk with a Windows-like graphical interface operated with a mouse, and put all the tools on the CD! That way I won't have to worry about not having space for application programs, and I can also add some editing, creation, and other software tools. How can I make this boot disk well? |

Go take a look at the Wuyou Forum, it seems to be more pro than here. Use easyboot4.0 for mouse support, lformat has an example, very nice-looking. I also need to find some time to learn it.

I'm really ignorant and inexperienced—Microsoft has released the latest CD version of Windows?
Going to the Wuyou Forum for a look is fine too! Being able to make it myself would be best!! There are some things I want to add to the CD, mainly for booting, installation, disk checking, repair, data backup, learning DOS, editing, program creation, and so on. |

Making a GUI DOS boot disk is very easy; there's no need for any WinPE at all, it's frighteningly huge.

The following is quoted from zl7322's post at 2003-7-9 21:36:26: For example, that UCSHELL boot disk is a GUI DOS boot disk. Just modify the contents inside it a bit and it can become the GUI DOS boot disk you need. |
