China DOS Union

The USB on my old machine is 1.1, but the USB devices I have at hand are all 2.0.

I once used USBASPI.SYS and DI1000DD (mhairrudos) to drive USB. When I plugged in the USB flash drive and powered on, it prompted that no USB device was found.

As the title says, when this problem occurs, WINDOWS will pop up a balloon saying that the performance of the high-speed USB device will be affected, but it can still be used normally, just at a slow speed.

That old machine can't access the Internet, so I need to transport some files, especially large files, with a USB flash drive. I can't use floppy disks. I need to solve this problem under DOS. How should I do it?

Whether a USB flash drive can be recognized under DOS is often a matter of luck. All you can do is try all kinds of tools to see which one can drive your USB flash drive under DOS. If none can, you can only blame your bad luck.

Since this old computer can use Windows, why don't you transfer files under Windows? Although the speed is still slow under Windows, at least it can be recognized and accessed.

I want to use a Windows/DOS dual system. But after installing Windows, my parents won't let me install DOS again, saying why use those outdated ones when there are advanced ones. If you want to learn programming, just learn the advanced ones directly! They根本 don't know the details in the learning process! I want to use DJGPP, and those DJGPP files are more than 30M in total (without other additional tools), which can't be solved with a few floppy disks!

I'm not incapable of programming under Windows. Writing a program with Visual C by just clicking the mouse is okay. But that can't really train real skills, and it will hinder my pace to switch to Linux.

If you are only for learning, you can install DOS in a virtual machine.

What is your Chinese character system? The video card virtualized by the VPC virtual machine seems to be S3 325. If it doesn't work, just set the video card to VGA in the Chinese character system.
