Help: Why can't the MBR be copied when copying sectors? - China DOS Union Forum

As the title says, I use an SD card to make the FLASH program for a digital photo frame. Among them, I have a card that someone else has already made. I use the winhex software to package all the sectors of this SD card and CLONE to another card. But this cloned card doesn't work (can't boot). Previously, I also used WINHEX to make an image of a USB flash drive (can boot PE), but when restoring to another USB flash drive, it can't boot. WINHEX sector cloning also copies the MBR, why doesn't it work? I hope an expert can reply!

The capacities are the same, but it can't be used!

I currently have the BIN file provided by the manufacturer. I use WinHex to burn boot_loader.bin into the SD card. Then, after reinserting the SD card, it requires formatting. After formatting, the SD card becomes 100M (like partitioned). Then, I put the manufacturer's flash programs amlboot and upgrade.img into the SD card to make the FLASH program of the digital photo frame.

For convenience, I made an image of the made SD card with WINHEX, and then restored the image with a card of the same capacity. As a result, such a card cannot boot. Now I upload this BOOT_load.bin file and hope someone can tell me how such a BIN file is made. Also, isn't the clone made by WinHex sector cloning, and the MBR is also a sector? Why can't the card made by my later method boot?
