The following is quoted from Wengier's post at 2003-6-29 23:18:02: I've waited many days already, and even made a post to ask about it......... Have you been too busy? |

It's not that I didn't keep my word, it's just that compressing with DBLSPACE is really difficult... I've been researching it all along...
Or take a look at this DOS boot disk I just made (supports CD-ROM and shows a LOGO): Open attachment |

You shouldn't talk about the moderator like that! Everybody has a lot on their hands!

Sorry, it's because I really need it urgently.....
Wengier, it seems you misunderstood what I meant. What I want is the ordinary Win98 boot disk's io.sys, as long as it can boot a machine locked by a logical lock, that's fine. The size doesn't matter (it won't be bigger than the original, right? ^^). I really need it, so I put it a bit more strongly. Could you please help me? Sigh! If I could learn it myself, I wouldn't have to trouble you.... |

When someone else's Win98 system crashes because IO.sys is missing,
I use the sys command to copy IO.sys to drive C, and the system can start again! But then the blue sky and white clouds at startup can never be seen again! People would think this! |

The following is quoted from Wengier's post at 2003-7-8 20:07:46: The LOGO in the second reply is Win95's, and showing that on Win98 wouldn't be very good, right.... |

This time I spliced the Win95 LOGO into IO.SYS, so that's what it shows.
The following is quoted from 沈洁's post at 2003-7-8 20:49:39: That's very easy to solve... wouldn't it be enough to copy LOGO.SYS to drive C too? |

Boss, go find a Win98 blue-sky-and-white-clouds picture!
Back then, in order to fool my teacher, I installed WinME on her machine, and to keep her from noticing, I needed to find that blue-sky-and-white-clouds picture, but after looking for a long time I still couldn't find it! Moderator, if you've really got the skill, upload one! That would benefit the rest of us too! |

Is that all you can do? Can't you install it in a virtual machine, then use a screen capture program to grab one, and then just change it to LOG。SYS according to the standard format.

The following is quoted from yiyesong's post at 2003-7-9 1:54:47: But grabbing it in a virtual machine is not necessarily a very good method, because if you do that, the scrollbar below will be lost... and you'd still have to make one again... Just use the one I uploaded above~~ |
