2. The operating environment for "Wubi Express":
⑴It can be used in DOS, Windows9x, and WindowsMe environments;
⑵By default it installs to the C:\WBC subdirectory on the hard disk, and only needs 2 MB of hard disk space;
⑶It comes with its own display fonts, so there is no need to start any Chinese character support system;
⑷It sequentially checks extended memory / conventional memory / hard disk, and automatically optimizes display speed.

You'd better look more carefully. If you don't recognize the DOS interface of win2000, or if you don't recognize the DOS interface of win98, I suggest you go take a good look at what the differences are between them.

I found version 3.1 online. After extracting it, it worked right away. No settings needed at all.
This time I tested it in a Chinese win2000server SP4 environment.
Last time it seems I tested it in an English win2000sever SP3 environment.
No problems in either case.
But I don't know whether it can be used in a win2000 professional environment...
That game, Doukyuusei 2, last time I could run it directly on my own machine (2K Server),
but on the company's machine (2K professional) it wouldn't run. Dizzy...
I suspect you're probably using win2000 professional.
By the way, here are two registration codes.
