Real programmers never write comments; if a program is hard to write, it’s bound to be hard to read too.
Real programmers don’t write applications; they program directly from the lowest-level bare machine. They think application programming is work for people who don’t know how to do systems programming.
Real programmers don’t draw flowcharts. Flowcharts are documentation for uncultured people; only people living in caves draw flowcharts on rock walls.
Real programmers don’t read manuals. Relying on manuals is a sign of ignorance and cowardice.
Real programmers never get it right the first time; they can sit in front of a machine for 30 hours straight patching a program.
Real programmers never live a 9-to-5 life. If you see a programmer at 9 in the morning, he must have been up all night.
Real programmers know better than the users themselves what the users need.
Real programmers also like to sell popcorn on the side. They use the heat given off by the CPU to make popcorn, and from the speed of the kernels popping they can tell what program is running.

Kind of interesting

But a real programmer probably hasn’t reached that level, right?
