With ntfsdos, is it possible to see and delete files whose attribute is hidden?
I used ntfsdos to enter my NTFS partition and wanted to delete sam.*, but when I used the dir command I could only see the sam file and could not see the sam.log file. After entering the system and changing the file attributes, then going back to ntfsdos and using dir, I could see sam.log and delete all the sam files. But after rebooting, the sam files are automatically restored. I don't know why this happens or how to solve it. |

sam files? Are they files related to passwords?
After Win2000(NT)(XP) restarts, it will regenerate these files, right? Because this is one of its services? To delete them, you probably have to stop the related service first. |

Learn how to ask a question first.
Make your post title a bit better. For posts with this kind of title, in the future there may be only these three possible outcomes: 1。Nobody responds. (This is the best-case scenario.) 2。It gets moved to the chatter section. 3。It gets deleted. |
