Can you help me make an image file that automatically SETUPs WIN98?
Use a WIN98 image file booted through the CD-ROM drive to automatically install WIN98.

win98 has to be placed in the root directory of the CD (that is, the win98 folder is under the root directory, and inside it are the installation files)...
I use it myself for multi-booting , it will automatically format drive C and install to drive C (with a prompt)....

You can first put this WIN98 installation files folder onto the CD, for example X:\WIN98. After that, add the following content to the boot disk (such as the MSDOS boot disks by the moderators in this forum):

choice Are you Setup Windows 98 ... ; Please modify the prompt message in this section yourself.

%cdrom% ; Before this line, you need to run Wengier's FINDCD first, to preset the CD-ROM drive letter variable;

What does set CDROM=FOO23 mean?

I feel the same as anson does.
Suppose the hard disk is divided into two partitions, C and D, and the win98 boot disk shows the CD-ROM drive as drive F.
After booting, if you can be at the F:\ drive letter, then adding commands like cd win98 to the batch file will do.

Could the moderators please, in the midst of your busy schedules, custom-make a boot disk that after booting can be at F:\

Please include as few files as possible,
so that newbies like us can study and research it.
